Completion of Maternity Ward

We our proud to announce that we have recently completed the 11th and final phase of the maternity ward project!

This was a 30 month project comprising of a whole internal refurbishment, including reconfiguration of the wards layout, complete strip out and new installation of all mechanical and electrical services.

In numbers:

🛁 10 new ensuite bathrooms

💨 6 new delivery rooms

🫧 2 water birthing rooms

🧸 1 new High dependency delivery room

👶🏻 1 new neonatal unit

The ward remained open 24/7 for the duration of the project and we would like to thank all staff, patients and visitors for this continued support and patience during the project.

Well done to Jack, his team, and all sub-contractors and design consultants for their attentiveness whilst they navigated working within a live hospital setting.
