Completion of Rayner Ward

ROK is proud to announce the successful completion of the six-month renovation project at the Jersey General Hospital, delivering a newly refurbished, dedicated female surgical ward within the Rayner Outpatients’ Department.

As the main contractor, ROK oversaw the transformation of the former Rayner area, reinstating a space that is now exclusively for women’s surgical care. The redeveloped ward features ten surgical beds and will support women requiring hospitalisation with sensitivity, dignity, and privacy.

Throughout the project, our team carried out comprehensive upgrades, including the installation of new flooring, modern lighting systems, and renewed ceiling structures - all delivered on time and in budget.

ROK is honoured to have played a role in restoring the Rayner Ward to its original mission and to support the government’s commitment to improving women’s health services on the island.

A special well done to Ross and Andy for their outstanding work and leadership in completing another excellent hospital ward. Their commitment, professionalism, and attention to detail have played a huge role in the success of this project. Thank you Ross and Andy!

We extend our thanks to the Health Department, the design and clinical teams, our sub-contractors, and all stakeholders for their collaboration throughout the project. Together, we have delivered a modern, welcoming space that strengthens Jersey’s healthcare infrastructure for years to come.
