De-Tour-De-France 2024

We are thrilled to have sponsored the charity cycle trip to France, raising funds for the amazing Happy Heroes charity. With 31 enthusiastic cyclists and a dedicated crew of 4, our team set off on an unforgettable challenge.

Starting with a ferry ride to St Malo, our cyclists then embarked on a 3-day, 280km ride through the stunning French countryside. Despite getting a bit lost and some racking up well over 300km, their spirits remained high!

Thanks to their efforts and the generous sponsorships, we raised over £16,000 for Happy Heroes. The charity aims to provide a safe environment for children with additional needs to play with no judgement; as well as providing support for their parents and carers.

A huge thank you to everyone involved! Amazing organization by ROK's Beth, Meg and Jack; support crew of Marc, Kev, and Danny; all cyclists who put in the hard work; Big Maggy's for facilitating our training rides for months before; True Food for keeping our cyclists fuelled; and of course everyone who sponsored a cyclist and allowed us to go far beyond our fundraising goal!
