Rok team at Les Quennevais Careers Fair

The Rok team exhibited once again at the Les Quennevais School (LQS) Careers Fair, to inspire and inform the students about the wide variety of jobs available in construction and the pathways open to them. Seven members of the Rok team came to represent junior and senior roles; site and office roles; women and men  working in construction industry roles.

The school hall was buzzing with students from all year groups keen to learn more about what careers options are open to them. We spoke to a wide range of students, some of whom were familiar with us and the Design Engineer Construct course, which is offered at LQS and Rok sponsors. 

The team enjoyed talking to the polite and engaged students, some of whom had questions about becoming a project manager, an engineer, an architect and a quantity surveyor.
