Rok welcomes more Year 10 DEC students

On Monday 17 October 2022, 24 Hautlieu Design Engineeer Construct! (DEC) students visited Overdale in two groups - one in the morning and one in the afternoon. 

Both groups were briefed by Peter Garforth from Morris Architects on conducting a walkover survey of the two potential sites on which they can choose to design an outpatient facility -  part of their course's assessment work. 

The group considered the benefits of a walkover survey as a way to complement their desktop studies of the two, adjacent sites. The students noticed that being in situ offers them a better sense of scale, context/ relativity between objects and the user/stakeholder experience of the area.
