Topping out IFC6

Rok are proud to join the 'Topping Out' ceremony for the International Finance Centre Building 6 (IFC6) and celebrate the milestone with client, Jersey Development Company, and future anchor tenant, Aztec Group. States Members, Government of Jersey officials and the team involved with the design, construction and financing of the building were also present.

The customary tradition of topping out marks an important milestone in the construction of a building with the completion of the super-structure and is an opportunity to bring together all parties involved in the project.

The IFC buildings are setting new standards in the Island’s office accommodation by providing super-prime Grade A office space, sustainable and flexible accommodation to the highest standards. IFC6 will be rated as ‘Excellent’ in the BREEAM Environmental rating scheme, the world’s leading third-party certification of a building’s environmental, social and economic sustainability performance. Key advantages include the benefit of natural light on all four elevations which studies have shown increase productivity and well-being for employees working in office environments.

Rok anticipate that the 68,000 sq ft building will be complete by the end of 2023.
